The Managing Director/Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Well Intervention Limited, Hon Dr Gabriel Bravo Oluohu has been honoured with the prestigious AFRILA Outstanding Leadership Hero’s Award 2024 for his exemplary and development-driven impact in Nigeria and Africa at large.
Hon Bravo, who was honoured in recognition of his outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to social justice, community development and advocacy for the betterment of Africa, by the organisers of the annual African Legendary Awards (AFRILA) 2024 during a ceremony held in Abuja.
Presenting the award plague and certificate, the founder of AFRILA, Amb. Pastor Austine Holy noted that the award was put together to recognize unsung heroes while they are alive, which is against the old tradition of honouring personalities when they are gone.
The award ceremony which took place at the Armed Forces Officers Mess, Asokoro, Abuja has in attendance General Paul Boro – Special guest of honour, Prof. Mike Ozekhome – face of the award, AIG Ben Igwe FCT Commissioner of Police and DIG in charge of Zone 7 amongst other notable personalities.
In his remarks, Hon Dr Bravo, while thanking the organisers for the recognition of his moderate contributions to humanity, said he remains committed to his avowed covenant with God, to bless, him to bless others, provide for him to provide for others and that the award will spur him to stretch himself further for.the betterment of humanity and the society in general.

Hon (Dr) Gabriel Bravo Oluohu, JP is a Nigerian politician, philanthropist, farmer, businessman and humanitarian.
Born into the Royal family of Chief Anthony Bravo Oluohu (Ogadachichi 1 of Yala) of Igbekurekor and Mrs Patricia Ofie Gabriel of Alifokpa, Yache in Yala LGA of Cross River State, he had his primary & post primary education in Cross River State before proceeding to Abuja for his university education.
Hon. Bravo is a prominent player in the politics of the Federal Capital Territory where he steadily rose to serve as Supervisory Councillor in four different departments in AMAC namely: Supervisory Councilor for Education, Sports and Social Development, Health and Social Services, Environment, Finance, Budget and Investment. This makes Hon. Oluohu a great ambassador of Cross River State in the Federal Capital Territory.
Bravo is a family man, a political think-tank, an agricultural entrepreneur, and a businessman with specialty in capacity building, a financial consultant and an integrated service provider.
He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Well Intervention Limited and other blue chip companies. His down -to-earth approach has earned him several awards from across the country amongst which are Award of Honour by Legend Club of Nigeria in recognition of hard work, commitment, determination and legendary achievements.
The Cross River born politician is known to have donated huge sums of money to several categories of Nigerians over the decades without asking for anything in return or breathing down their necks for patronage.
